| American/Greek Sensation Kalomira "Carol" Sarantis & Arkman at Elenis Restaurant, Centereach on 4/23/05 |
We have known Kalomira or Carol, as we affectionately know her by, for several years now. Carol is a very
sweet spirited young woman who probably would win, a "Best Hostess Contest" if there was such a thing.
My wife Judy, myself and my two kids: Samantha and Gabriel met Carol as she was serving Italian foods
and drinks at her parents Italian Restaurant: Eleni's Restaurant which is located in Centereach, Long Island,
New York. When I found out at approx. 3:00pm today, Saturday, April 23rd, that Carol was at her parents
restaurant visiting from Greece and was going to be there for a few hours, we decided to make every effort
to rapidly seize the moment and drive for 25 minutes to see Carol. It was great to see her and we took a few
photos with her and her beautiful sister Georgia.
A few things about this incredible singer/entertainer Kalomira Sarantis: she is literally the "Britney Spears"
in Greece. Every household name in Greece knows her. In 2004, Carol was the winner of the "Fame Story"
contest in Greece, which is the equivalent of this nations version of "American Idol". Carol was selected as
Greece "Woman of the Year", she is also working on her 2nd album, scheduled for a fall release. Carol has
been seen in NBC's Today's Show with Katie Kouric, and has also been featured in "Access Hollywood".
